Consume less caffeine

More than often you can hear experts say that we should lower our intake of caffeine and there are many reasons for that. The main reason for this is the fact that because of caffeine your body can’t stay hydrated enough. According to one survey, average adult drinks four big cups of coffee every day, but the experts recommend that we drink one or two smaller cups of coffee. However, if you still think that your body needs caffeine, you can replace your coffees with tea.

Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet

This tip should go without saying – your diet needs more fruit and vegetables. The fact is that we think that we have enough of both in our diet, but when we start tracking – it always turns out that we should have added more fruit and vegetables.

Add more healthy fats in your diet

Whenever we hear “fat” we think that this should not be in our diet, but, the truth is that there are many healthy fats that should be part of our diet. These fats can be found in walnuts, black and green olives, almonds, avocados and believe it or not – in dark chocolate.

Add more whole grains in your diet

This tips is one of the most difficult on this list – the idea is to substitute bleached and processed grains with whole grains (whole wheat flour, for example). Furthermore, there are many whole grain snacks that can be great for you and you will really learn to love whole grains.
